Justin Rose, PGA Tour Player and Book Trust Champion.
This is a wonderful organization that was founded in Fort Collins, CO over twenty years ago. It provides free books each month to elementary school children who attend schools that have a high percentage of low-income students. The books belong to the individual students who often hand them down to their younger siblings. Book Trust now serves more than 55,000 students in twenty one states.
Justin Rose, the number two ranked golfer in the world is a big supporter of Book Trust. In the 2018 Player’s Champion, Morgan Stanley donated $5000 for every eagle made in the tournament, which amounted to $320,000. This was extremely generous, paid for 96,000 books and greatly raised awareness of Book Trust.
I serve on their northern Colorado board, which is nothing in comparison to the hard work of the permanent staff and the generosity of our donors, but it’s rewarding and fun. Yesterday, my wife Tonya, my daughter Amanda and I spent some time at Laurel Elementary here in Fort Collins. We got to see the kids receive their new books and hear about how excited they are each time they arrive. We were then assigned a book partner and were able to read to the kids and be read to by them.
We all want kids to have every chance of success and I believe that education and reading are great playing field levelers. Please take the time to follow the link to the Book Trust website and learn a bit more about this great organization.

Scott, you Tonya and Amanda rock! Thanks for the time that you’re giving to such a wonderful organization. The Book Trust is fortunate to have you on their team!
Scott and family . It makes me very proud to do business with and have a friendship with a company and family that gives back to the community so generously with their time. Keep up the good work !
To Scott: Glad to see that you are involved in something like this. I have been involved with scholarship funding for several years now for students at the lowest income high school in Iowa and this would fit nicely for its feeder schools. Will ask around with administrators to see if they are familiar with this program and if they want to know more. It looks like things are going well for you and I am very happy to see that. Not bad for an Iowa boy. Keep it up and best wishes. Craig Millhollin Des Moines , Iowa
